me_ya_ri: Angry Robin glaring at you (DCU Tim-Robin 03 - Pissed)
[personal profile] me_ya_ri
And now for something completely random! Kestral drew a picture of Dragon Tim after he'd been regressed to babyhood and it was so cute that I couldn't resist writing something to go with it. XD Hopefully proper plot will return after this crack has been finished--count this one as a future fic. Hope everyone enjoys!

"So cute!"

Tim growled at Dick from his spot under Jason's chair in the library. He wasn't getting any help at all from Jason but that was more because Jason couldn't stop laughing enough to make Dick leave Tim alone. It had been bad enough when he was in his human form. Dick had latched on for hugs that made Tim squirm desperately. To both of their surprise Tim had shifted forms in his effort to get away from Dick.

Being less than knee height with wings that wouldn't support his weight and claws that just barely passed the level of kitten claws was worse than being a toddler.

"Oh God, this is just unreal," Jason wheezed. "Baby, you get in the most unbelievable situations."

"Grrrrr!" Tim growled at Dick, Jason, the universe in general.

He gnawed at the blue ribbon that Dick had half strangled him with. His paws weren't agile enough to get the thing off. Not that he was sure it would be possible even if he could paw it around. Dick had tied the bow in a knot instead of something easily removable. Tim was relatively certain that Dick had a camera hidden in his back pocket. The last thing he wanted was to have his picture taken while in this state.

Jason's hand came down from above, tickling Tim's wing with his fingertips. Instead of retreating, Tim leaned into Jason's hand. It took practically no encouragement at all for Jason to pick him up and cuddle Tim in his lap. From the grin on Jason's face, he thought Tim looked adorable too. Tim grumbled and tried to claw the ribbon off again.

"Jesus, Dickie-bird," Jason huffed. His scent was still full of amusement though less than before. "What'd you do? Tie this thing on there permanently."

"It's cute," Dick protested. "Awww, come on. You can't take it off! I haven't gotten a picture yet."

Tim snarled at him, well aware that he wasn't threatening in the slightest currently. He only hoped that he would be returned to his proper age quickly because he had some serious revenge to plot against Dick for this indignity. The only reason he wasn't doing it now was that he already knew that the best he could hope for was to bite Dick's ankle or claw his kneecaps.

"Sit still, Baby," Jason murmured as he tried to untie the ribbon and then gave up and pulled his knife. "I know you got dragon hide right now but I don't want to hurt you."

As Jason carefully cut the ribbon off Tim's neck Tim stayed perfectly still other than the twitching tip of his tail. Dick pouted and then jumped when Tim hissed at him. Jason tried to pass the ribbon over to Dick but Tim caught it and tore it into little blue shreds. Dick's expression and scent went from delighted to disturbed by the time he was done destroying the ribbon.

"Um, don't like the ribbon?" Dick asked just nervously enough that Tim felt a little better.

Tim hissed at him, wishing he was full size so that he could roar his anger. The hiss made Dick ease back a couple of steps while Jason started snickering. The smell of fresh food came from the stairs, which meant that Alfred was on his way down with their dinner.

"You might want to lock your door, Dickie-bird," Jason drawled as he ran a hand over Tim's back soothingly. "I think Tim's out to shred your clothes and your face."

"Rrrrr!" Tim growled in agreement.

He flipped his wings at Dick, deliberately thrashing his tail. Apparently even as tiny as he was currently Tim could still manage threatening because Dick backpedaled several more steps. Dick nearly ran into Alfred who sniffed disapprovingly at his behavior.

"I was requested to relay a message to you, Master Timothy," Alfred said as he laid out three plates of food. All three of them held human food to Tim's surprise. "Master Bruce believes that you should be back to normal in the next ten to fifteen minutes."

Tim's ears perked up in delight. He jumped down from Jason's lap, rubbing up against Alfred's ankle in thanks. Dick very quickly moved to the opposite side of the table. His scent was so full of alarm that Tim couldn't resist sneaking under the table to bat Dick's foot. The way Dick yelped and then fell over almost made up for the indignity of the ribbon.

"I think I'll eat in my room, Alfred," Dick babbled as he scrambled back to his feet and then all but ran out of the library with his plate of dinner.

"Baby, if you don't give him a good scare tonight I'll be really damn disappointed in you," Jason said.

Tim peeked out from under the table, laughing little hissing laughs at the way Jason grinned back at him. Alfred looked amused as he left them alone together. There would definitely have to be some revenge when he got back to normal. Being treated like a glorified kitten with a ribbon on its neck was definitely cause for letting his more devious side out.

Very Cute. And I don't blame Tim at all. Ribbons should not be worn around necks.
